Pine Computer: a cloud PC built for AI, 2–5× faster at 1/25 the model cost
testingcatalog · x · 2026-10-10
Pine launched Pine Computer, a cloud machine built for AI agents. Instead of models repeatedly polling the environment, the OS, browser, apps and rendered display push change notifications — "epoll for AI perception." Apps can fan out jobs (e.g., renewing permits on city portals) across parallel cloud computers, handing control back to users for steps like sign-ins. On SaaS-Bench v1.1, GPT-5.6 Luna on Pine Computer scored 78.3% on checkpoints vs 74.3% for Opus 5 with Claude Code, running 2–5× faster at 1/25 the model cost. SDK access is open to approved beta developers; a waitlist is live.
