How to start with Managed Agents: onboard command plus scoped tasks to control token burn
ClaudeDevs · x · 2026-10-10
Anthropic shared onboarding guidance for Managed Agents dynamic workflows: set your agent's multiagent type to multiagent20261001 and ask Claude to run a workflow — the lead agent writes the plan and orchestrates up to 1,000 agents per run.
Since dynamic workflows can burn a lot of tokens, the team recommends starting with a scoped task and incrementally raising complexity. You can get started in Claude Code with /claude-api managed-agents-onboard bug-hunter, or use templates from the official docs.
