Per Reuters, law firm Ropes & Gray will now let all of its associates count up to 100 hours of experimenting with AI toward their billable-hour targets.
The policy effectively de-risks AI adoption for lawyers, turning exploration time into creditable work — a notable example of large professional-services firms using institutional incentives to push AI into real workflows.
