Synthesia opens early access to Syren, a code-driven live video generation app

Synthesia has opened early access to Syren, a video generation app that turns a prompt or your existing materials into a finished video, built live and refined by chat. Three differentiators: (1) its own engine — the agent writes the video as code and a proprietary rendering engine plays it back live, handling motion and advanced 3D graphics; (2) live preview with your own material — add documents, images, videos or connected sources like Notion and watch it take shape; (3) speed — real-time rendering with lower latency and better token efficiency than similar products. The poster, a Synthesia employee, says he's used it for a week and found it remarkable.
