Only Tesla and XPeng Join Paris Motor Show Real-World Intelligent Driving Demo
Scobleizer · x · 2026-10-09
Quoting @UniverseIce: at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, only two automakers are joining the official real-world intelligent driving experience on public roads — Tesla with FSD (Supervised) and China's XPeng with VLA 2.0. No German or other European automakers are participating.
XPeng has also just taken on the OICA Secretary role in a UNECE task force on automated driving, helping coordinate international discussions on the technology. The post highlights the irony of European carmakers absent from an intelligent-driving showcase in the heart of Europe's auto industry.
