OpenAI researcher Aran Komatsuzaki joked that with so many startups building simulators and RL environments, we should instead buy a few hundred robots, put them in India, and let companies run real-world tests on them—"No sim-to-real gap. Just a real-to-India gap." The tongue-in-cheek "India-as-a-Service (IaaS)" post pokes fun at the industry's rush toward simulation-based robot training.
