HQ, a platform for running AI-operated companies, crossed 1,000 companies and shipped two updates:
- A redesigned desktop app consolidating companies, bots, conversations and files.
- HQ Core v16:
- Conduct on by default: every task dispatches to a background worker on Claude, Codex, or Grok, keeping the main session fast and free.
- Faster tool calls: hooks no longer boot Node per call, cutting 40% CPU per tool call.
- Policy lifecycle: the right rule surfaces next to the action it governs; stale rules retire themselves.
- Better integration awareness and multi-company session bindings with isolated context and credentials, built for agencies.
