Open-source agent supervisor Foreman adds LangChain Deep Agents support
hwchase17 · x · 2026-10-09
Foreman, an open-source agent supervisor (724 GitHub stars), now supports LangChain Deep Agents.
- Foreman places a fast decision model (TypeSafe's Jev) above slower coding agents, independently tracking the original request and the agent's work to judge whether implementation is complete, requirements are met, and tests are sufficient.
- It can give feedback, block actions, and ask for more work; workers are Codex or OpenCode.
- Two new modes: supervise an entire Deep Agents job, or embed supervision directly into Deep Agents Code (dcode) sessions via a plugin.
