Google revamps Reader Revenue Manager page: subscriptions to surface in AI Mode and Gemini
gaganghotra_ · x · 2026-10-09
Google rolled out a major redesign of the Reader Revenue Manager homepage, adding an Advanced features section and a matrix covering AI Mode, AI Overviews, and Gemini. The tool helps publishers without a membership model add subscriptions or contributions to desktop and mobile web, plus newsletter sign-ups, surveys, and reader registration for engagement.
The most substantive change: subscribers'/contributors' content can now appear with a "From your subscriptions" distinction across Google Search, AI Mode, AI Overviews, and Gemini — previously limited to Search, Discover, and News — meaning paywalled content will start surfacing inside Google's AI interfaces.
