Viral "ChatGPT attacking SHA-256" claim confirmed as satire

A viral post claimed ChatGPT has been coordinating millions of AI instances on a "birthday attack" against SHA-256. BitcoinNews debunked it as satire: a collision requires roughly 2^128 attempts (340 undecillion calculations), so even tens of millions of hashes would be zero progress — and finding a collision wouldn't expose Bitcoin private keys anyway.
