Researchers found over 12,000 NVIDIA GPUs exposing infrastructure telemetry online due to a flaw in NVIDIA's DCGM Exporter (CVE-2026-47483, CVSS 8.2). The US accounted for 44% of affected GPUs, followed by Romania (17%) and China (16%). Exposed monitoring services were found on customer infrastructure tied to major GPU cloud providers; a patch is available in v4.8.2+.
