Delta MCP: batching tool calls to cut token bills and add undo for MCP agents
Jalexy15 · reddit · 2026-10-09
A developer found most of his token bill came from MCP round trips — models calling one tool at a time and stuffing context — plus no audit trail when AI modifies tickets or docs. He's building Delta MCP, a local layer in front of existing MCP servers: the AI writes the whole task as one small program, Delta validates and runs it, logs every change with before/after state, and supports undo where the underlying service allows. Free, local, no account, closed source for now; he's soliciting community feedback on GitHub.
