Sonilo, an AI audio startup founded by TikTok veterans, raises $11M led by B Capital

San Francisco-based generative audio startup Sonilo has raised $11 million in a round led by B Capital with Redpoint participating. Its founding team came out of TikTok's AI and music divisions.
- Its core "Sound World Model" is a multimodal system that ties video comprehension to audio generation and timing, scoring music and effects to on-screen movement and emotion rather than treating them as standalone tasks.
- In the latest published benchmark, Sonilo won 34 of 40 head-to-head tests against other AI audio models.
- Funding will go toward compute to scale models, expanding creator and developer platform reach, and building out its music licensing business.
