Vibe-founder lets Codex run a startup overnight, signs 10 business customers in 24h

X user @CtrlAltDwayne, with only 3 Codex resets left, decided to burn his remaining usage by asking Codex to "start me a new business."
Overnight it produced a fully functioning web application with decent design and hosting configured. The next morning he had it wire up email via Resend, then it went off cold-emailing prospective businesses — and about 10 of them onboarded within the first 24 hours on a free-tier-plus-paid-upgrade model. "Getting users is the hard part and somehow it's actually doing it."
Notable details: the output still looked "very GPT," so he used Claude to tidy the design; Codex also autonomously created a logo, opened Adobe Illustrator, and produced proper .ai and SVG files in light/dark variants plus wordmark, branding, and a style guide. He says it's the first time one of his ideas felt like it might go somewhere.
