Machine Desktop launches: every agent gets its own cloud computer and routines that run while you're away
tsi_org · x · 2026-10-09
Machine released Machine Desktop (v0.1.43) for macOS and Windows, bringing all web-app bots into native windows.
- Each agent gets its own cloud sandbox: workspace files, a browser, and a Deploy button live in the cloud; only the app is installed locally
- Routines run off-machine: schedules and webhooks fire in the cloud, so work continues with the laptop closed
- 40 ready-made bot recipes: for sales, marketing, engineering, research, and founders—one click sets up the whole team, its group chat, and routines
- Verifiable self-updates: release manifests are Ed25519-signed and installer hashes checked before install, so a hijacked download host serves nothing
- An optional Chrome extension lets bots operate in your own browser tabs as you
