Leaf: An Indie 3D Page-Flipper That Turns PDFs Into Tactile Digital Books
CurieuxExplorer · x · 2026-10-09
Indie developer Amir Mushich demoed Leaf, a tactile 3D page reader in v1: drop in a PDF or set of images and it renders a flippable digital book entirely on-device — files never leave your machine.
Features include multiple page formats (A4, 1:1, 16:9, custom ratios from 0.42–2.4), adjustable shadow depth, blur, gloss, and page-turn sounds (soft paper to heavy card), plus cover and page editing. It can export as HTML or record an MP4. The author plans updates next week and argues the page-turn interaction measurably keeps readers engaged with brand books and documents.
