REA v6.1.0: 28.6k-star tool lets agents reverse engineer anything locally
aigclink · x · 2026-10-09
REA (Reverse Engineer Anything) shipped v6.1.0, an MCP toolkit that plugs reverse engineering into agents — covering native binaries, Electron/JS, .NET, APKs, websites, network captures, EVM bytecode, firmware, crash dumps and process behavior.
Its key design is evidence-driven output: conclusions come with assembly instructions, call chains, strings and screenshots plus stated limitations, rather than pure AI guessing. All analysis runs locally on your own machine. Works with Claude Code, CLI, Codex. The project has 28.6k stars.
