- Setup: simplest workflows, 2 fixed + 2 random seeds per prompt (best of 4 kept), tested across complex prompts, typography, styles, fine detail, character understanding, and realistic 1girl photos; full-res images linked
- Speed: Hunyuan distill 20-26s, Qwen 16s, Krea 8-9s
- Verdict: 1st place Krea 2 Turbo — fast, natural-looking detail, solid styles and typography, few anatomy fails; its main flaw is Qwen's weak VAE turning eyes to mush on full-body shots, fixable with FaceDetailer eye masks. 2nd place Qwen Image 2.1 — strong detail but oversharpened "AI look"; excellent at amateur-photo realism and styles like a pencil-drawn lion/zebra scene
