The University of Toronto Artificial Consciousness Initiative (ACI), a three-year pilot led by Andrew Y. Lee with Karina Vold, Christian Tarsney, and Gwen Bradford, is recruiting a two-year postdoctoral fellow.
- Research areas: philosophy of AI, philosophy of mind, ethics, and/or decision theory
- Salary: at least CA$70,000/year, with up to 10% admin work for ACI
- Expected start date July 1, 2027 (negotiable)
- ACI studies AI, consciousness, artificial minds, and related ethical/safety questions
