Lightspeed led Avarra's $17M Series A, having also led its 2023 seed round. Avarra uses AI avatars to capture top sales performers' know-how, letting GTM teams practice complex scenarios, prep calls, and get support during live deals — the same avatars can work directly with buyers, with playbook updates flowing into both training and customer conversations. The company reports over 10,000 AI coaching and role-play sessions per week. Founders: David Knight, Matt Huang, Scot McIntosh, Christopher Iezzoni.
