Running agents across machines: give the agent SSH keys to other machines it can use at will
lucasmeijer · x · 2026-10-09
Developer lucasmeijer shares his multi-machine setup with AgentsInTheCloud: he runs agents on one beefy machine and gives the agent, via the project config, an SSH key to another machine that it may use when it sees fit.
In a follow-up he adds that he attaches an external Mac so agents can use an iOS simulator — a practical, replicable pattern for turning spare devices into agent-schedulable resources.
