Dev open-sources AI new tab that rebuilds daily from browsing history, riding new Claude API credits in MAX plans

Anthropic's MAX plans ($100, or $200 matching your tier) now include monthly Claude API credits for building personal AI. Developer Thariq open-sourced ai-newtab, a Chrome extension he uses daily: an agent reads your browsing history and the sites you follow (signed in as you), then regenerates a personalized homepage in the background that replaces your new-tab page. You can describe any layout—a quiet one-column digest, a dense dashboard, a terminal look—and the next build follows it. MIT-licensed, with extension, agent-core and harness modules plus an architecture doc.
