• Developer Kristoph (Dropbox co-founder) shared 'Marquee for HBO Max', an independent Mac client for HBO Max he built in a few hours, replacing the video player with a native implementation.
• A signed and notarized dmg (v0.1.0, 9.8MB) is available for Apple Silicon Macs; it works with your existing HBO Max subscription, profiles and My List, and is free with no IAP or added ads.
• He plans a Linux version, download support, and full open source release.
