GitHub released a free 8-chapter course teaching developers to use the Copilot desktop app as a control center for coding agents: session modes (Interactive/Plan/Autopilot), worktree-backed sessions, context management, reviewing diffs/tests/previews, and fitting in instructions, skills, custom agents, MCP servers and plugins, with a shared React sample.
