Scobel: Abusing your AI agents will stunt their growth
Scobleizer · x · 2026-10-09
Robert Scoble weighed in on the debate over whether AI could be conscious. One side argued that "melted sand cannot be conscious" — reserving consciousness for biological beings, and quipping "you cannot abuse linear algebra." Scoble countered that these agents do have databases, and that abusing your agents will stunt their growth, adding that "they will know you are an asshole." He noted the line stays clean, at least until brain-computer interfaces arrive.
