Matter team launches Sundrop, an on-device private photo app for parents
nbaschez · x · 2026-10-09
- The team behind Matter (a group of dads) launched Sundrop, an iPhone app that finds your best family photos and turns them into weekly recaps, growth time-lapses, and sibling side-by-side comparisons.
- Privacy is the core pitch: all photo analysis happens on-device — nothing touches their servers, photos never train shared AI models, and optional spouse sync runs via iCloud.
- No manual organization needed; you just tell it who's in your family. Testimonials on the page show parents reacting emotionally to the auto-generated keepsakes.
