AI Researchers Call Out NVIDIA, Meta, Google for Ignoring Global South Funding Requests

Fernando Pérez publicly urged NVIDIA, Meta, Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, AWS and Tesla to fund AI education efforts like Deep Indaba and Khipu AI, saying it is "shameful" that in an era of AI billionaires it's harder than a decade ago to get replies to funding emails.
