Claude Code 2.1.295 Adds Blocking Hooks and Terminal Status Support, Prompt Tokens Up 23.5%

Claude Code 2.1.295 (14 hours after the previous release) adds onFailure: "block" for hooks — failing or timed-out hooks now block the action — plus OSC 7501 terminal status protocol support and new --port/--session-tunnel CLI options. Model entries like claude-haiku-5-5 appear while claude-haiku-3-5 is removed. Bundle size grew 2%, and prompt tokens jumped +23.5%, with tools' share of tokens rising from 19.7% to 25.3%.
