Anthropic has cut the price of Sonnet 5.5 cache reads in half in the Claude Platform, now $0.10 per million tokens (input stays $2, output $10). Since agentic workloads lean heavily on cache reads, Sonnet 5.5 now runs roughly 20% cheaper on most agent work. API only — Claude Code usage limits are unchanged.
