Anthropic launches Claude Dashboards and Motion, folds standalone Design into Claude on Dec 14
nateparrott · x · 2026-10-09
Anthropic shipped Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion while also consolidating its design tools. Dashboards (beta, paid plans) connects to BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, ClickHouse, or Salesforce and turns plain-language questions into live dashboards that stay current as data changes — every chart exposes the query behind it. Motion (beta, Team/Enterprise) generates animated explainers built as editable code. Docs, Slides, and Design are out of beta and now available on every plan, including Free.
Separately, Nate Parrott said usage of Design and Slides built into Claude is much higher than the standalone versions, so standalone Design will be folded into Claude on December 14, and he's soliciting user feedback on gaps in the new experience to fix before the cutoff.
