Google's NotebookLM has launched an Expert Intelligence feature, debut with Nicholas Thompson's running book The Running Ground. Readers can upload the book and query the author's training logs, papers, podcast interviews, and essays — e.g. how to train for a 2:29 marathon — with answers grounded in those sources. Steven Johnson says it previews how AI will change how we read and interact with books.
