OpenAI's Thibault Sottiaux announced day 4 of his update series: steering in the coding agent is now instant, letting the model react to your course corrections in real time instead of wasting effort in the wrong direction. A new "GPT-6.1 Sol ultrafast" release ships alongside, and the two reportedly work well together. iOS developer Dimillian called it "huge".
