Replying to Danielle Fong, gandamuml argues that many entered ML expecting it to be the most efficient path to solving many problems—and that is now happening, with wide visibility only accelerating the awkward shakeout.
He further contends people should be able to interact with agents that actually solved these problems, i.e. agents populated with that context. This would also ease concerns about missing citations: agents rationalize post hoc, but it's better than nothing.
