Sentry CEO: Junior users report it 'seems smarter' after switching to Opus 5.5
zeeg · x · 2026-10-09
Sentry CEO David Cramer shared that after switching their AI coding agent Junior's primary model to Opus 5.5, they've received numerous user reports that "Junior seems smarter lately" — it previously ran mainly on Sol and Astra.
He also admitted he has almost entirely stopped using GPT, partly because Anthropic's new model performs so well and partly because his Codex subscription quota runs out within days.
