LangChain ships OpenAI Decisions API integration for typed, probabilistic answers
LangChain · x · 2026-10-09
LangChain released an integration for OpenAI's Decisions API (langchain-openai>=1.7.0, beta). The API reads natural language and images and returns typed answers with calibrated probabilities instead of generated text, suited for request routing, model selection, and tool-call safety checks. The release ships OpenAIDecisions as a Runnable (yes/no, choice, score questions), model routing middleware, and auto mode middleware for createagent, with traces and token usage logged to LangSmith and support for compatible gateways.
