Riff edits video by voice: 24 edits, zero keystrokes, no model loading
nateliason · x · 2026-10-09
James's "build a new idea every day" series (day 2) produced Riff, a video editor controlled entirely by voice.
You just speak commands like "make it vertical," "cut it to the beat," and "shake on every kick" — the demo shows 24 edits with zero keystrokes. Nat Eliason notes the neat part is "vibe editing" without having to load footage into Claude or similar models.
