Inception's Mercury Decide hits #2 on OpenRouter, claims edge over Jev
StefanoErmon · x · 2026-10-09
One week after launch, Inception AI's structured decision model Mercury Decide is #2 on OpenRouter by users, with independent ValsAI results showing it is more accurate and more affordable than Jev. Served as a System One endpoint, it takes a state plus typed questions and returns a choice, score, or yes/no answer with calibrated probabilities taken directly from the model (making output tokens free). It makes up to 14 decisions per second, uses the same /v1/systemone schema as Jev, has a 33K context, and is free on OpenRouter plus available via the Inception API and Baseten.
