The team formally releases the paper arguing we must measure not just what agents can do but how they improve, via the Agent Plasticity metric (held-out gain per unit of learning cost, up to saturation).
- Case studies include Claude Opus 5.5 converting raw-keystroke NetHack prayers into a controller rule, and Claude Fable 5 patching its chess engine to hold draws near the ply limit.
- All-star author list: Harman Singh, Anton Bakhtin, Rulin Shao, Guy Gur-Ari, Rob Fergus, Sanjeev Arora, Kurt Keutzer, and others.
- Paper and code links are available.
