DHH announced that SpaceXAI (xAI) has joined the Omacom Foundation as a Founding Corporate Patron, donating $1.5 million worth of Grok tokens to support maintenance and development of the Omarchy Linux desktop project.
- Grok 4.7 and beyond will power automated agents like Omabot, which reviews PRs — the project is nearing 7,000 pull requests from 550+ contributors.
- Every Omarchy team gets access to the tokens for bug hunting, themes, hardware porting, and more.
- It joins Meta Superintelligence Labs, DigitalOcean, and Alibaba Cloud as founding patrons, bringing total backing to $23.2 million.
- DHH jokes that tokens may soon be beamed from orbital data centers.
