Lenny Rachitsky shared a clip from his talk with Linear CEO Karri Saarinen, who argues that making products produces two things: the product, and the learning. "The effort you put into building and designing things teaches you something about what the problem is, what the customers want." He cautions that in the AI era there's a danger of losing that direct connection with the learning.
