Amid confusion over FT's OpenAI ARR reporting, CNBC cited a source saying the $70B ARR figure includes revenue sharing from big partners like Amazon and Microsoft, and that OpenAI's reported revenue has long included such partnership deals. Stripping those out, the ARR is $50B — a $20B gap raising questions about how OpenAI counts revenue.
