Dev shares agent workflow: background workspaces protect your focus
lucasmeijer · x · 2026-10-09
Lucas Meijer shares two workflow details for working with coding agents:
- Evaluating agent work: agents don't just say "done" — they open the app at the exact place where the change is visible, taking the legwork out of evaluation;
- Protecting mental bandwidth: small noticed items become background workspaces without stealing focus, and the land command merges a change and deletes its workspace so it's out of your head.
