NVIDIA announced commitments valued at $1 billion over the next five years to build US capacity for superintelligence R&D in quantum computing, healthcare and energy security. The announcement came at the "Science: A New Golden Age" event in Washington, D.C., convening US officials, industry leaders and scientists.
"With a $1 billion investment, NVIDIA is putting advanced Super Intelligence in the hands of America's scientists to accelerate breakthroughs in medicine, energy and materials," said founder and CEO Jensen Huang. The move builds on two decades of collaboration with US national labs and supports the expansion of the US OSTP's Genesis Mission, where NVIDIA is a leading industry partner.
