Dev open-sources Game Summoner, a multi-agent pipeline that turns prompts into playable games
demonicpigg · reddit · 2026-10-09
The developer of Game Summoner open-sourced his prompt-to-game-website suite under MIT license across several GitHub repos:
- Multi-agent design pipeline: one agent writes a high-level design, two run visual and engineering design in parallel, and a fourth acts as integrator merging them into the final design doc.
- The same model then builds the game with tools to test it—screenshots, simulated play, capturing exceptions and dead inputs—since models are notoriously bad at self-assessing "is this good," validation is objective.
- Architecture: SQL queue ("cheap, works like Kafka at this scale") + long-polling workers + a custom autoscaler that walks the AWS/RunPod cost ladder for cheapest GPUs; Qwen 3.8 27B locally, modified sglang with Qwen 3.8 Flash-Next in prod, ComfyUI for images.
- Runs on a 5090 with 64GB RAM; deployable in a couple of days with an agent, with clean model licensing.
