Orchestrator rebuilds its agent terminal: 13ms typing lag, 5x faster output
julianweisser · x · 2026-10-09
The agentwrapper team behind @useOrchestrator admitted the terminals in their GUI-first agent orchestration platform weren't great, so they pulled an all-nighter to rebuild them. The v0.13.5 release brings typing lag down to 13ms (other ADEs: 24–40ms), makes large output appear 5x faster, finishes output-heavy commands up to 14x sooner, and cuts terminal close time from 100ms to 40ms. They also fixed stray % prompts, ghost tabs, flicker, and tab reordering. The terminals can run editors, tools, or additional terminal agents. The team notes the demo video is not sped up.
