Unsloth Adds OS-Level Sandboxing with Under 100ms Latency, Teaming with Microsoft on mxc
danielhanchen · x · 2026-10-09
Unsloth shipped OS-level sandboxing for its local LLM runtime, integrating Microsoft's newly open-sourced mxc sandboxed code execution repo on Windows (built in collaboration with the Windows team), plus bwrap on Linux and seatbelt on macOS. Per-tool-call latency stays under 100ms across all three, while its software-level regex/AST-based sandboxing runs at just 3ms. Repo and guide are public, making it easy for developers to sandbox local agent code execution securely.
