Vibe-coded infinite loop burns 6 trillion reads, lands $10,811.41 Cloudflare bill

Coolify founder Andras Bacsai was billed $10,811.41 by Cloudflare after a vibe-coded Durable Object alarm kept rescheduling itself in an infinite loop, racking up 6 trillion reads and writes. Support tickets got bot replies, staff said they could only "take a look," and he paid in full — calling it the second most expensive lesson of his life — and is moving all projects to self-hosted VPS. Lesson: Cloudflare has no hard spending limit; set your own budget guardrails.
