Figure CEO Brett Adcock corrected Chris Paxton: Figure's humanoid cannot pick up and move items over 50 lbs. Context from Paxton: despite the hype around Figure and Optimus, few humanoids can handle the 50 lb payload typical of real industrial work — the OSHA one-person lift limit — and the gap from 40 to 50 lbs is far bigger than it sounds, making robots heavier and control harder.
