Economists demo what an open scientific paper should look like in the AI age

Economist Paul Novosad and Ary Srivastava built a demo project rebuilding their paper on the childhood socioeconomic circumstances of Nobel Laureates as a visual, interactive open-access format, arguing AI-age papers shouldn't be paywalled or locked in dense PDFs. Their point: if agentic tools can generate 1000 new games daily, they can make ideas more accessible.
