Anthropic has opened up 13 free certificate-bearing courses via Anthropic Academy (hosted on Skilljar), aimed at entrepreneurs, developers, and professionals who want to properly learn AI.
The catalog spans:
- Fundamentals: Claude 101, covering everyday use, projects, artifacts and skills
- Developer track: building with the Claude API and a hands-on Claude Code course
- Agents: Introduction to Agent Skills, plus MCP basics and advanced topics
- AI Fluency series: tailored versions for students, educators, and small businesses, plus a course on teaching AI fluency
All courses are free to register and grant a certificate of completion — one of the more systematic free AI curricula from a major lab, notably including official MCP and agent material.
